AJ BOGINO WINS THE “ORIGINAL PIZZA LOGS” 600 SPRINT TOUR RACE AT RANSOMVILLE SPEEDWAY

Friday night September 17, 2010 the “Original Pizza Logs” 600 Sprint Tour saw 16 cars enter the pits at Ransomville Speedway Speedway to see who could be the next winner. When the night was over it was AJ Bogino in his NPS Racing Engines car in victory circle. We would like to thank everyone for another great fun filled night of racing.  Thanks to all our officials, drivers and fans.

Heat #1 saw Jacob Wendt winning the heat.  Following Wendt across the finish line were Eric Wise, AJ Bogino, Darryl Ruggles, Jim Lafler and Kevin Carlson. Matt Farnham and Jim Radney did not start.

Heat #2 saw Nick Cooper winning the heat. Following Cooper across the finish line were Steve Doell, John Smith, David Ferguson, Alysha Ruggles, Tyler Walker, Frank Jarkiewicz and Ken Wills.

AJ Bogino and Nick Cooper would lead the 16 car starting field to the green. Cooper would jump out to the early lead and looked unstoppable. Then caution flew for Tyler Walker and John Smith. On the next restart Cooper and Bogino would battle side by side with Bogino taking the lead from Cooper. Cooper had nothing left for Bogino and he cruised on to his first “Original Pizza Log” 600 Sprint Tour race. Following Bogino across the line were Nick Cooper, Darrly Ruggles, David Ferguson, Steve Doell, Jacob Wendt, Alysha Ruggles, Jim Radney, Kevin Carlson, Frank Jarkiewicz, Matt Farnham, Jim Lafler, Eric Wise, John Smith and Tyler Walker. Ken Wills died on the track just before the green flew.
