Sunday night July 11, 2010 the “Original Pizza Logs” 600 Sprint Tour saw 27 cars enter the pits at Cayuga County Fair Speedway. When the night was over it was Nick Cooper in victory circle. We would like to thank everyone for another great fun filled night of racing. Thanks to all our officials, drivers and fans.
Heat #1 saw AJ Bogino in his Cobra Coaches car take the early lead. He would then battle Nick Cooper but in the end it was Cooper taking the checkers followed by AJ Bogino, Charlie Donk, Kevin Carlson, Eric Wise, Tatter Kysor, Ben Kysor, Bob Finley and Patrick Wilkson.
Heat #2 saw Tyler Walker in his Pizza Logs car take the lead from his pole position and was never pressured. Meanwhile Cory Donk, Steven Fonte and Darrly Ruggles were having a battle of their own. Lap after lap they traded positions. In the end it was Tyler Walker, Darryl Ruggles, Cory Donk, Steven Fonte, Alysha Ruggles, Matt Jones, Dan Naegele and Jim Laffler crossing the finish line. Heat #3 saw Dave Ferguson and Jim Radney battle lap after lap for the top position. In the end it was Dave Ferguson in his AT&T/Speedy Cleaners taking the top position over Jim Radney. Following Radney across the finish line would be Matt Smith, John Smith, Ryan Ellis, Adam Bruni, Chris Seely, Kirsten Dombroski and Matt Farnham.
Dave Ferguson and Tyler Walker would lead the field to the green. It would be Dave Ferguson taking the early lead over Tyler Walker. Several laps in we would have a red flag when Matt Jones and Jim Lafler collide in turn four. When the green flew again it would be Nick Cooper challenging Dave Ferguson for the lead. Nick would take the lead until the next caution when Darryl Ruggles would then take over. Ruggles lead would be short lived as on the next and final caution Nick Cooper was able to take over. Ruggles would pressure him and try to use lap traffic but came up short. In the end it was Nick Cooper, the fifth different winner in victory circle. Following Cooper across the finish line were Darryl Ruggles, Charlie Donk, Jim Radney, AJ Bogino, Tyler Walker, Alysha Ruggles, Cory Donk, Eric Wise, Kevin Carlson, Steven Fonte, David Ferguson, Ryan Ellis, John Smith, Ben Kysor, Bob Finley, Patrick Wilkson, Dan Naegele, Adam Bruni, Kirsten Dombroski, Chris Seely, Tatter Kysor, Matt Smith, Matt Jones and Jim Lafler.
