Sunday night August 29, 2010 the “Original Pizza Logs” 600 Sprint Tour saw 23 cars enter the pits at Cayuga County Fair Speedway to see who could be the next winner. When the night was over it was Charlie Donk in the Dan Willmis Enterprise car in victory circle. Charlie became the eighth different winner of the series. We would like to thank everyone for another great fun filled night of racing. Thanks to all our officials, drivers and fans.
Heat #1 saw David Ferguson winning the heat. Jim Radney would battle from the sixth starting spot to finish second by overtaking Ben Kysor on the last lap. Following Radney and Kysor across the finish line were Steve Doell, Steven Fonte, Cory Donk, Nick Cooper and Chris Seely.
Heat #2 saw Charlie Donk power from his pole starting spot to take the heat win. Following Charlie across the finish line were Kevin Carlson, Darryl Ruggles, AJ Bogino, Matt Farnham, Keith Granholm, Patrick Wilkson. Paul Habeck was a DNS.
Heat #3 saw pole sitter Eric Wise win the heat. Tyler Walker did everything in his power to get buy but Eric Wise held strong. Following Wise and Walker to the checkers were Alysha Ruggles, Colton Wilson, Jacob Wendt, Kirsten Dombroski and Matt Jones.
Jim Radney and Charlie Donk would lead the 23 car starting field to the green. Donk would get the jump to take the early lead. Meanwhile Radney would be in a battle with Tyler Walker and Darryl Ruggles. Meanhwile behind them Alysha Ruggles, David Ferguson and Eric Wise were in a battle of their own for position. When the checkers finally flew it was Charlie Donk in his Dan Willmis Enterprise car in victory circle. Following Donk across the finish line were Tyler Walker, Darryl Ruggles, Jim Radney, Alysha Ruggles, David Ferguson, Eric Wise, Nick Cooper, Kevin Carlson, Steven Fonte, Colton Wilson, Cory Donk, AJ Bogino, Ben Kysor, Jacob Wendt, Matt Farnham, Chris Seely, Steve Doell, Patrick Wilkson, Kirsten Dombroski and Matt Jones. Paul Habeck and Keith Granholm were DNS’s.
